My name is Dave Sergent and I am dedicated to providing clean, drinkable and healthy water to the Wanganui Community and as of June 2016, I also service Palmerston North, Fielding and the manawatu area.
The bore where our water is sourced has been flowing for over 60 years, providing over 200 tons of water per day. This water has been tested and has a very high mineral content which is a bonus to those looking to maintain good health and positive well-being.
Our water not only tastes far better than what comes out of your tap, but is actually better for you. The human body is more than 60 percent water. Blood is 92 percent water, the brain and muscles are 75 percent water, and bones are about 22 percent water. A human can survive for a month or more without eating food, but only a week or so without drinking water.
Our diets today, tend to be less healthy than a lot of us would wish, and most of the processed foods we eat, tend to be acidic. There are many who suffer from indigestion and acid stomach due to stress and poor diet choices. We can help counter the acidity by drinking water which is slightly alkaline. pH is a numeric scale used to specify the acidity or alkalinity of a liquid. Liquid with a pH less than 7 is acidic and liquid with a pH greater than 7 are alkaline or basic. The water provided by ‘The Water Truck’ has a pH level of just over 8, so is slightly alkaline. My research indicates that alkaline water helps out with insomnia and colic and could help in the fight against cancer tumours.
The Water Truck refills water containers at intervals to suit you (for most customers this is weekly or fortnightly). This way, you are guaranteed a regular supply of fresh, top quality water. I am dedicated to providing the most efficient, economic and environmentally friendly service I can, providing this naturally sourced mineral water to your door.
The Water Truck is locally owned and serves the local community. We like to help out in the community and have done so in the past with sponsorship at social and sporting events, like ‘Relay for Life’. We hope the good relationship we have with this community will continue on into the Future.
